To the long time members: Thank you for the patience that you've showed all this time. It wasn't easy when the guild first started and it wasn't easy during the rough times that came up from time to time. Thank you for being great examples of how we expected new members to act & perform.
To the recently added initiates and members: I'm sorry that this happened and we wish you saw SG at it's very best. Please believe us when we say that we didn't decide to do this until last week. Thank you for helping us in the short term. I hope some of you were able to see some things that you weren't able to previously. If you were fairly new to raiding, I hope your experience in SG helped prepare you for your next raiding guild down the road.
To our former members: Thank you for contributing to Soylent Green. Some of you left on good terms, some of you didn't. However, almost all of you helped us progress in some way and we wouldn't have made it for 2 1/2 years without you. You also helped forge some great memories and infamous moments for us.
That's all I've got for now. It was a great ride, everyone. If anything, I hope that all of you had a chance to make some new friends in SG that you'll be able to keep in touch with long after Blizzard gives up the WoW money train. That's worth more than any boss kill or epic lootz.
